It's a Wonderful Life star Virginia Patton Moss is dead at 97 years old.

The last enduring grown-up cast individual from Frank Capra's exemplary occasion film, Moss died on Aug. 18 in Albany, GA.

Mossis featured in 1946's It's a Wonderful Life as Ruth Dakin Bailey, the spouse of Harry Bailey (Todd Karns)

Brought into the world in Cleveland, OH in 1925, Moss started acting while at the same time going to the University of Southern California.

She showed up in various short movies paving the way to her projecting in It's a Wonderful Life.

Her last on-screen acknowledge was as Millie Dale in the 1949 parody The Lucky Stiff.

Moss and her significant other stayed wedded until his demise in 2018.

The couple had moved to Ann Arbor, MI, where Moss brought up their three kids, started a profession as a money manager, and filled in as a docent at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.

"It's a Wonderful Life" is Considered to be one of the best movies ever.

The film was selected for five Academy Awards, Best Picture among them, and was added to the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress in 1990.
